Circadian Technologies bolsters Product Development team  

Circadian Technologies, the operating system for decentralized energy, is expanding its Product Development team to further its mission in the African telecom market, focusing on enhancing energy optimization.

This strategic move comes as Circadian Technologies successfully advances the deployment of its Energy Management Service (EMS) across Nigeria. Partnering with Africa’s foremost telecom tower operators to revolutionize energy management, the company’s proprietary data analytics platform offers unparalleled audit and control capabilities.

Bolstering its international team, Circadian Technologies is pleased to announce the appointment of two key members.

Aziz Ouertatani has joined the Berlin-based R&D head office as a Full Stack Software Engineer. With a background in Computer Systems Engineering and a PhD in Sustainable Energy Systems from the University of Porto, Ouertatani is set to enhance the company’s API infrastructure, ensuring efficient data integration for energy management visualization.

Patrick Oluwafemi, based in Lagos, Nigeria, has been appointed a Backend & Mobile Software Engineer. Holding a BTech in Mechanical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, Oluwafemi is experienced in mobile application development. His role is pivotal in expanding Circadian Technologies’ product offerings, tailoring solutions to meet customer demands and insights from market research.

Circadian Technologies’ solutions enable telecom operators to lower OpEx by facilitating predictive maintenance, reporting fuel tampering and under-delivery and balancing tenant loads and optimizing generator usage by controlling battery charging rate. The platform is also instrumental in the transition from diesel to solar and storage solutions, streamlining the installation of renewable energy and supporting decarbonization efforts.
